Description: At the heart of our dark breeding program stands Peruvian Valeroso, a rare full Peruvian dark coffee herdsire. His fleece is both fine and dense and is packed with outstanding character. Valeroso is a bold, big-boned male who pases his best qualites to his outstanding offspring. His beautiful bold crimp has earned many of his offspring color championships. Even on that rare occasion when bred to a dominant white female he has sired a white color champion. We currently own his daughter Peruvian Cheyenne the Fawn 2000 International Fiber winner. He was chosen first in the 1997 Peruvian import by an ALSA judge, and we are very proud of him. He has maintained his fleece character and fineness to date. So if you are looking for density and color but not willing to compromise on fineness and fleece character then Valeroso is the one.
